Fresh Color!

I love color. I just can't get enough of it. Although I prefer living in more neutral shades, nothing sings like a bold splash of color in a simple pair of bright pillows, a chair, a wall color, or a scarf, or a piece of jewelry. Just the right amount of a bold color mixed with others, and a lot of white can be the perfect mix to brighten your color palette whether it be in your interior space, your wardrobe, or your dining table. Some days I just happen to see the perfect mix in nature, on the street, a magazine or an outfit or an accessory. I take a lot of snapshots to record these fleeting moments as a visual diary, to remind myself later just what inspired me. Sometimes it's that little hint of coral in a muted vignette, or other times it is the unexpected mix of big, bold, bright colors all put together. I tend to like my surroundings and interiors neutral with not too much color, but every now and then a bold splash will catch my eye completely by surprise. These vignettes stick with me and might someday come out and reinvent themselves as a room, a wrap, an evening bag, a necklace, a dress, or a painting. Keeping a visual diary allows me to refer back to these moments, but it also allows me to share beautiful moments of design, color, arrangements, and random beauty in nature.
